Read on: This is the Vista driver as downloaded from the following webpage (which is also uselessly uploaded around here somewhere): The installer program will refuse to run when it detects that your OS is not Vista. However, nearly all Vista drivers should work in 7. I used a Vista system to run the installer program and then copied all the files it extracted which is what I archived and uploaded here. Simply extract all the files to a directory and then manually point the driver installer to that directory to install the driver. I have tested this on Windows 7 32bit but it should work for 64bit also. Or if you just want to install the driver without any of the extra stuff on Vista yo Driver Package.

I found a solution after looking up my camera in mac cam's database: It mentions that there are drivers on this site: and if you download the ZC0301PL driver and force it to install (Device Manager, Update Driver. Choose, Choose from a List, Have Disk., browse to extracted files) it works like a charm! Probably a way of modifying the ini file to make it auto-install but I can't remember the trick to do it. Creative Audio Driver Windows 7The 'add legacy hardware' wizard is a failsafe whose intention is to allow arbitrary device software to be added even if the device isn't allowing for new drivers. When I try to update the driver in the regular way as you suggest, Windows simply says that no drivers for my device have been found (with all four driver packages). The fact that the drivers don't work with either method, along with the fact that the camera works in linux, suggests that it's a driver problem and not a hardware problem. I have the same problem, the original driver didn't work for my Windows 7 x64. I've searched the web and found thread and a new x64 driver from VIMICRO ZC0301PL, which should be work, since it uses the same CMOS module as Creative WebCam NX Pro. But however, that driver is not working for NX Pro, so I've tried take file from VIMICRO to replace the original driver, and made some modification in the INF file. And it works (except TWAIN / VFW) Note that the files from VIMICRO are not signed, that might popup an warning message. Do not install this modified driver, if there's any security concern. Here's the modified file. ![]() Unfortunately, your success with the new driver to make the NX Pro work with Widows 7 seems to have taken off and the file download has met it's limit. Here's the error I get when trying to download it: This file is neither allocated to a Premium Account, or a Collector's Account, and can therefore only be downloaded 10 times. This limit is reached. To download this file, the uploader either needs to transfer this file into his/her Collector's Account, or upload the file again. The file can later be moved to a Collector's Account. The uploader just needs to click the delete link of the file to get further information.
